Following Espen Fadnes’s BASE jumping crash in Bangkok, the three wingsuit pilots are feeling unsure and anxious about their next flight in Lauterbrunnen, Switzerland. Rushed planning, electrical lines and pure nerves add to their anxiety, but will it get in their way of achieving the ‘perfect flight’?
Jokke Sommer, Espen Fadnes and Ludo Woerth band together and decide to go through with the new line. Filmer Ludo is particularly nervous.
Their proximity wingsuit flight follows the jagged mountain tops all the way down to the open fields above Lauterbrunnen, one of the longest and most technical flights of the pilots’ careers.

Probably the most amazing series on the web with incredible videography. It’s also interesting to see the amount of route study these guys put into before jumping. They definitely do their homework.

From what I’ve read they found them self in the wrong valley that was too flat and couldn’t clear it.
So amazing, such a fantastic line with so much proxi. RIP Ludo and Dan. Not a lot of people die doing what they love. My condolences go out to your families.

The only way I can see all 3 of them crashing is if they misjudged the Line and didn’t leave enough altitude to clear the valley they grounded in. It’s heart wrenching to think about. But all 3 would have thought they were going to clear the valley until it was to late. That’s my guess anyways.
