I stuttered too when I was growing up. I had more and more trouble as time went by. My greatest fear was that my teacher would call on me to stand in front of the class and read. I spent a very long time listening to people say I couldn’t do this and I couldn’t do that because I was stupid or retarded. As I got older I discovered the only thing no one had never sait I couldn’t do was art. It became a therapy for me but as I got older I gave it up until a number of years ago. I found a website where people could put up their art and get comments on it. I was hooked in a very short time. I learned digital art, photo manipulation and that sort of thing and found a place in the world where I could belong. I have only one wish left to me now. I want to fly. I don’t care if it’s in an air plane or something like you and your friends do. I want more than anything to feel that freedom.

i found that video 2 weeks ago and i m watching it everyday. Maybe everyone will start laughing from me but when i saw this video – i started crying like kid, tears of happiness started slowly falling down, not because i m weak, but because i m emotional and what did you say was like about me – now i m 26 and as far i remember in primary school and further i felt different, because i was dreaming about flying, but i was to scary to share my thoughts because i knew people gonna say – ” hey kid ( or teenager) dont be silly, only birds can fly, people can walk or swim but not fly” so i kept my biggest dream inside, i heard about wingsuiting 2 years ago and then i keep saying to myself – nooo its expensive and impossible to start doing by simple person as me but i really wanted start journey with it, now – i know – nothing is impossible and i started saving money for skydiving licence and in maximum7 months from now i m gonna start skydiving, then do hundreads of skydive and base jumps which is gonna take years but finally i will fulfil my biggest dream – feel freedom and fly, so dont kill your dreams and keep working on it, because no one is gonna wear your shoes and live your life, i want do it not because i want die, i want do it because i want live. thank you for that video Brandon. 5…4…3…2…1… IN THE AIR!

Brandon, this is truly inspirational – not least in the way you take the time to answer so many of your commenters with such encouragement and humility. As to the video, I like the simple approach here – no grandstanding, no overinflated ego, just highly accomplished flying and beautiful scenery. Nice camera setup for your facial shots, too – the distance and framing are perfect so that you could almost believe the camera was floating in front of you rather than attached to your helmet. And you look so serene!
I’m a long-time skydiver, so I know a fair bit about how this stuff works, but even I am blown away by it and by what guys like you are achieving. it’s amazing that since I started jumping we’ve seen the birth of freeflying and the modern wingsuit, people landing 35-square foot canopies, and of course proximity flying which for me is the most beautiful and exciting of our family of sports. I can’t wait to see how things evolve further over the next few years, and I’m glad we have people like you around to keep pushing the envelope.

Thank you for sharing bro! I appreciate that someone is also honest with themselves… but more importantly living out there dream. Before I even went to PRESCHOOL.. I ONLY wanted to be skydiving. Only thing I’d tell the teachers when they asked how I got to school. Only books I’d get from the library were about skydiving. I’m an peasant and an alcoholic.. so I don’t live that.
I bet the feeling while doing this is amazing, nothing in those moments matter because you’re free.
