+Matthias Giraud Equipment question if you don’t mind. At 1:22 it looks like your rig is left hand deploy. Am I seeing correctly or is this a mirror image shot? I’m asking because I’m about 95% ready to switch to left deploy on my skydiving gear to preserve my right shoulder and as I get ready for BASE I’m hoping it’s a doable thing as well. I can’t imagine why it wouldn’t be, but regardless I am curious.

Well if everything turned out as planned iam not very impressed. Iam not saying i could do that. It was just parachuting while holding a rope. Sorry but this vid was meh, and 2 years of planning? Even more meh
+Dr Janitor No grip was lost. We used a dynamic rope to reduce the tension and therefore you can hold on the whole time. Thanks for watching! Good times!
Iam pretty sure he losed his grip, i can imagine u gotta get the right ‘swing’ and good tension in the rope to be able to hold on such a fall. I dont wanna say he failed, but iam sure this stunt can be executed way better.

Интересно он сам отпустился или руки не выдержали? Сколько он интересно весил при такой скорости падения, в нижней точке.
Наверное хотели сделать что то вроде качелей, но когда парашютист дернул своим весом второго парапланериста, тот испугался и парашютист отпустил веревку.
Тоже про это подумал)) Возможно они хотели имитировать что то типа тарзанки) в названии же написано rope swing. Но нахрена – непонятно)) Мне больше всего было интересно, что произойдет со вторым парапланом (к которому была привязана веревка), в нижней точке, как сильно его дернет. А дернуло его слабо, наверное потому что тот быстро отпустился от тарзанки. По сути его дернуло с такой силой, с которой падающий смог удержаться руками) А удержаться он не мог, потому что он по сути упал на тарзанку своими руками)
Про вес – им надо было еще тарзанку прицепить к веревке через пружину с динамометром, тогда бы мы знали!))
Вообще непонятно зачем нужна была такая сложная система из двух парапланов. Можно было просто спрыгнуть с первого параплана и раскрыть парашют. Зачем он зацепился за второй параплан?
