Dubai looks like a pretty lame city tbh. It looks like they took a desert, and built big buildings in it and that’s it. What else is appealing about it? It’s like Vegas, but without all the fun Vegas is known for because it’s much more restrictive. I feel the people who say it’s so awesome are mainly saying that because they come from other places in the middle east that are absolute shitholes, and it’s the closest thing they have to an urbanized modern city so it’s a big deal to them in comparison. Sorry, truth hurts guys. I’d much rather go to Bangkok or Rio.
