Two weeks of fun, paragliding at Dune de Pyla in Aquitaine, France. This is Europe’s largest sand dune, standing around 110m tall on the Atlantic coast near Bordeaux, backed by pine forests and lakes. Not a place for high flights, but for playing near to the ground, this is the site of the annual Waggas Festival for freestyle paragliding, won this year, as most years, by Charlie Piccolo, the King of the Dune.
