What better way is there to christen a new Epic than flying it on a drone 500 feet above a cliff face with B.A.S.E. jumpers leaping below? We were lucky enough to work with the masters at Freefly Systems to pull this off last month in Index, WA.
Here is a sneak peek at some footage from the shoot. Special thank you to Nimia (http://Nimia.com – Premium Footage Archival, Management, and Distribution) and FreeFly Systems (http://freeflysystems.com) – simply the best stabilization systems on the market.
“Earth” is a film series that looks into the lives of “extraordinarily ordinary” people. Metal smiths, medics, police officers etc., who travel the world to B.A.S.E. jump. This film will be released in 2015. Stay tuned for BTS and new releases.

Nice, Dudes!! 😀
Stoked to see the rest of this, Zach! Looks great so far.
It may sound crazy, but based on the train track alone I knew this was near Index. I have a photo of me on that very same track from 2008.
Sweet, looking forward to see the rest of this!

Sick. Love to see a base-jumping video without exaggerated music like you find it often. It’s beautiful, simple and just epic.
