A few Paragliding Flights in true 3d – requires red blue glasses

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=m0flxTiRz7I for up to date with 3d tags

These were shot in South Africa using 2 identical Panasonic Lumix FX37 digital cameras.

This is just a sample, I took various clips with different toe ins, and am still experimenting with the settings. Both of these have had the left/right eye adjusted to give a decent 3d view by moving one image slightly horizontally – otherwise there is too big a difference between the shots and your brain doesn’t process them correctly

  1. Great Job, looks brill.

  2. Just awesome. Any chance of You uploading a side-by-side version (with the yt3d:enable=true tag)?

  3. not as easy as that – this has been custom editing in vegas to red blue stereoscopic and uploaded like that. To do a side by side I would have to redit quite a lot to output side by side version. I might do one at some stage – but I find they don’t work that well for me unless in very very small frames.

  4. The first shot with the cameras on the monopod was awsome, the rest of the video switched right/left images requiring the cyan lens to be on the left. Overall, quite enjoyable. Suggestion for another video: separate the cameras further for more depth on the ground, and keep your feet out the shot.

  5. @erknerd Look at the latest one posted. This has been aligned properly and uses the 3d tag.

And sorry – the feet stay. Sort of my signature.

  6. Why i can see 4 legs? 😕

  7. parallax.

you either get some 3d scenery, or flat scenery and 3d me. can’t get both

I’ll post a new video in next few days with real 3d camera

    stu

  8. 3d ??? :DDDDDDDDD

  9. A Fool hanging on my computer screen!! lol
