Splendid local flight from 10am to noon before the Nebbia (mist) gets too big and prevents the flight. Flying to the edge of the cloud, hiding with the vultures.
I added some images to the ground to present the site to those who do not know it:
Photos of Chianale (the Italian village landing), several views of the Nebbia (cloud/mist formation, regularly giving rise to Lombardy with a Foehn effect).
Some views also of the blue lake and other surrounding lakes, the Tête des Toillies is also at the center of this gigantic aerial and walking picture. The viso lands in the background with others no less discreet and majestic: the peak of Asti, the bread of Sugar, the Taillante.
This flight was particularly busy in Nebbia as often, however take-off was possible as early as 8am that day with a sustained breeze, which is not always the case.
I didn’t take off until about 10am only to land when the Nebbia had become far too important for me to continue the flight. Some days may be drier and more frequent, but they are quite rare, but still so magical.

Denis, dommage que l’on n’ait pas volé ensemble cette année dans le Queyras. J’aimerais bien faire ce vol depuis le col Agnel l’année prochaine 😉
Salut Patrick, oui je suis bien de ton avis: l’impression que c’est passé bien trop vite, bien trop peu de vols, pas assez vu les copains, en particulier à Ceillac. Une année difficile pour les contacts humains.
Les vols depuis le col Agnel sont très rares. LA seule solution est de venir sur place quand ca parait possible d’y voler, venir tôt au col (8h) et croiser les doigts. 9 fois sur 10 ca n’y vole pas (car trop chargé ou trop de Nord ou d’Ouest). Mais lorsque on y vole, c’est VRAIMENT magique. J’espère qu’on s’y verra alors ok. Bons vols Patrick. 🙂
